Day 1 – Overnight in Lumberton, NC

Your journey begins this morning as you depart Lancaster, PA and travel south toward beautiful Beaufort, SC. This evening, arrive in Lumberton, NC for an overnight stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. Conveniently located next to a Cracker Barrel, you’ll have dinner on your own tonight.

 

Day 2 – Arrive in Beaufort, SC / Lowcountry Boil & Dolphin Cruise

After breakfast and check-out, continue your travels to Beaufort, SC. Upon arrival:

• Lowcountry Boil Lunch

  Head to the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park for the 31st Annual Shrimp Festival! Enjoy world-class shrimp dishes, live music, arts & crafts, and dinner on your own. You might even catch “Forrest Gump” himself dancing in the crowd!

 

Day 4 – Forrest Gump Film Sites & Festival Fun

• Guided Film Site Tour
  With a local guide, visit Lucy Creek, Bubba’s Mama’s House, and Forrest’s Mama’s House—locations featured in the movie Forrest Gump.

• Lunch Included at a Local Favorite

Day 5 – Day Trip to Savannah, GA

Day 7 – Return to Lancaster, PA
