Join us for an unforgettable springtime adventure that culminates in one of the most unique traditions in America The Great Steamboat Race, part of the celebrated Kentucky Derby Festival! This exclusive journey combines scenic cruising on the iconic Belle of Cincinnati, delightful small-town stops, exciting attractions, and true Southern hospitality.
Our journey begins as we travel to Covington, KY, a vibrant suburb of Cincinnati. After check in at the Holiday Inn, we will enjoy a "Saints & Sinners" Buffet Dinner at the hotel. After dinner you can settle in and prepare for an exciting multi-day cruise along the beautiful Ohio River, filled with charm, history, and springtime scenery.
After a hearty breakfast and lunch aboard the Belle of Cincinnati, we dock in the historic village of Rabbit Hash, known for its quirky charm and river lore. Then we pass through the Markland Lock and Dam, before disembarking at the elegant Belterra Casino Resort for an evening of fun and a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet.
Enjoy breakfast and lunch onboard as we continue our relaxing cruise down the Ohio River. Upon arriving in Louisville, we enjoy dinner and the performance of "Hairspray" at the Derby Dinner Playhouse, famous for its Broadway-caliber performances and warm hospitality. Overnight in the Louisville area.
Today is packed with iconic Louisville experiences! The Frazier History Museum and The Kentucky Derby Museum, with a delicious lunch along the way. The grand finale awaits as we return to the Belle of Cincinnati once more to take part in the legendary Great Steamboat Race against the Belle of Louisville an annual event since 1963. This exciting event includes a Heaven Hill Bourbon tasting, a delicious meal, and plenty of lively "Riverboat Shenanigans" as we cheer for our win. Remember, the only rules in a riverboat race is "There are no rules!" We will then disembark and overnight in Sharonville, OH.
After breakfast, we head home with wonderful memories of
scenic river cruises, classic Americana, and exciting
Kentucky traditions.

Day 2
Historic River Towns & Casino Delights
Enjoy breakfast and lunch aboard the Belle of Cincinnati as we set sail on the Ohio River. Our first stop is the quirky, historic village of Rabbit Hash, known for its colorful characters and river lore. After passing through the Markland Lock and Dam, we dock at the Belterra Casino Resort for a lively evening, featuring gaming fun and a lavish buffet dinner.
Day 3
Cruising to Louisville & Broadway Entertainment
We continue cruising down the scenic river with breakfast and lunch onboard. This afternoon, we arrive in Louisville, Kentucky’s cultural hub. Tonight, enjoy a delicious dinner and a Broadway-style performance of Hairspray at the renowned Derby Dinner Playhouse.
Day 4
Museums, Legends & The Great Steamboat Race
A day packed with Louisville’s finest experiences! Visit the Frazier History Museum and explore the Kentucky Derby Museum, where we’ll enjoy a tasty lunch. The highlight of our trip awaits this evening: the legendary Great Steamboat Race! Climb aboard the Belle of Cincinnati and join the fun as we race the Belle of Louisville in a no-holds-barred river showdown. Enjoy a delicious dinner, a Heaven Hill Bourbon tasting, and classic riverboat shenanigans during this unforgettable night on the water. After disembarking, we travel to Sharonville, OH for our final overnight.
Day 5
After breakfast, we journey home filled with laughter, great memories, and stories of steamboats, bourbon, and springtime on the Ohio River.
